2003 I.C.R.C.
Golf Tournament Report On Sunday, June 1st, over 50 golfers entered the Annual ICRC Golf Tournament, held this year for the at Lakeridge Links Golf & Country Club. This year, the tournament was switched to a "scramble" format to create some more excitement. Perpetual Champion Patrick Craig teamed up with his brother John, Trevor Jones & Wally Deville to take this years title by shooting a four under 68. An "ICRC Alumni" team of Tom Litwiller, Gary Chapman, Andrew Donnely & Ian Buchanan finished in 2nd place with an 69, and Bruce Maxwell's team of John Cruise, Grant McArthur & Matt "Bob" Anderson birdied the last hole to move to one under and finish in third. Karen Ferguson won the "long drive" competition for the women while Wally & Norma Deville won the "closest to the hole" competitions for men and ladies respectively. Unfortunately, Patrick Craig won the men's "long drive" contest, but his playing partners reported it was aided by 100km gusts of wind, and it bounced off a sprinkler head. Thanks to all who who participated and made this day the best tournament so far!! Our thanks to everybody at Lakeridge
Links for their hospitality.
