Ed Gardner of the resurgent Toronto Irish Canadians. In their key 23-16 victory
over the Yeomen, Gardner (pictured) slotted six penalties for 18 points and kept the Irish
out of trouble with his pin point kicks for touch. The win put the Irish to 6-5 on the
year, and is a remarkable turnaround from their 1-4 start.For his efforts Gardner receives a $25 gift certificate from Specialty Sports Supply, top rugby equipment distributors in Ontario rugby.
