The Irish have had a lengthy connection to "The Rose", with such players as Graham Rabarts, Turkey Crawford, Clayton Dawkins, Dave Nellis, Dean MacLean, John Nikora and Neil Maxwell all working as security and / or bartenders.  Former Prop Tim Kennelly was the General Manager during the 90's and has since moved on to become an Account Representative with Guinness Canada.
