MINI RUGBY CLINIC

(  UNDER 10 AND UNDER 12 RUGBY  )

 SATURDAY MAY 8^th AT 10:00 am @ FLETCHER’S FIELDS

 Please note  -  there is no fee for this clinic

• All Rugby clubs with Minor Rugby Programs in 2004 are invited to participate in this clinic by sending coaches and other support staff
  

• Under 10 and Under 12 players are also invited to attend.  Many players will be needed for the on-field demonstration sessions.  Please bring your players

• The day will begin with a one hour meeting for coaches and club organizers in the upstairs room at FF at 10:00 am sharp.  This meeting will be to discuss the 2004 Rugby Ontario rules, regulations and competitive structures.  This information will also be posted on the web site by Monday May 3^rd and coaches are urged to read and prepare before coming to the May 8^th meeting.  The convener, Mauro Mozzatto, will be present to answer questions about the schedule of tournaments

• Handouts at the meeting will include printed copies of the Rugby Ontario Minor Rugby information package, as well as Rugby Ontario Minor Rugby Player Skills Passports and Skills Stickers for club use ( one per player ).   Clubs can also place orders for instructional videos and DVD’s

• Following the meeting, there will be on-field skills sessions and demonstration games organized by the Rugby Ontario Youth Development Officers.  The YDO’s will be organizing the players during the meeting, between 10:00 to 11:00.  The on-field demonstration sessions will begin at about 11:00 am

Rugby Ontario is hoping to double the number of registered Minor Rugby players this season.  We hope this clinic will be well-attended and that this will be the beginning of a highly successful season for all club Minor Rugby Programs
