Irish crush Detroit in preseason opener

The ICRC travelled to Murder City on a windy, warm Saturday and ran in 11 tries to rout the hometown Tradesmen by 65-0.

"Not a great test,but you have to start somewhere,"said coach Mark Winokur after the match.

Kyler Petrie (3) George Azar (2), Rob Forbrigger, Seb Orsi, Jadon Schmidt, Mark Cosgrove, Mark Power and Tom Madden scored for the visitors,who led 36-0 at halftime.

The development side,a motley crew for certain, also won by 27-25.
